Visit a local dog friendly attraction
There are lots of local attractions that welcome dogs, for example Swanage Steam Railway or Corfe Castle. Take a look at the below website for a list of ideas.

In the local village you can visit 3 pubs, The Piddle Inn, The Poachers Inn and Brace of Pheasants. All of the pubs welcome dogs and have lovely walks near them. There are also some pretty neighbouring villages that are worth a visit such as Cerne Abbas and Milton Abbas both offering nice country pubs.
This famous coastline is nearly 95 miles long beginning at Exmouth and ending near Studland at Old Harry Rocks. There are plenty of opportunities to join the south west coastal path within 25 mins of Doles Ash Farm. Our favourite coastal spots which we think are a bit quieter than other well know spots such as Lulworth Cove are Worbarrow Bay and Winspit.
Dogs truly love Doles Ash. You will find a network of footpaths across stunning countryside direct from your cottage door. Some footpaths you will find that there are no livestock or cars for miles – ideal for doggies to have a good run. If you like long walks, why not walk to one of the next villages such as Cheselborne where you will find the River Arms which is open all day for food.
Finally, if the weather is not too kind why not just cosy up with your beloved pet and simply relax in front of a roaring log burner.
